3. How long does an excursion last?

The duration of a half-day tour is 4 hours; the duration of an all-day tour is 9 hours including lunch. However, you can buy extra time by paying the guide in cash. He/she will provide you with our company prices.

4. What is the lunch menu?

We offer you lunches of Russian and European cuisine in the various economy and business class restaurants of Saint-Petersburg, Moscow and other cities of Russia. Lunch will be ordered in advance for the whole group. The lunch is the same for all members of the group. It includes a salad and/or a soup, a main dish and a dessert Mineral water, bread and tea or coffee are also included in the menu. However, it is possible for individuals to order their own lunch “a-la-carte”. If this is desired, you will have to pay for it additionally. Extra dishes and drinks will also be paid for in cash at the restaurant.

If you are allergic to any kind of food, if you are a vegetarian, if you are fasting or if you are on a diet, please inform us about this in detail beforehand and we will organize your meals according to your requirements.

One hour is planned for each lunch break; however, this can be changed according to the demands of our guests.

Your guide and your driver have lunch with the group.

5. Is it possible to change the tour program?

Programs of package tours can be changed slightly. If you inform us of your wishes beforehand (more than a month before the tour starts) we will amend the program. Depending on the museums’ opening hours, we also reserve the right to change the tour program without reducing the total number of excursions.

You can also add the half-/all-day excursions to the package tour or completely create your own trip program using our list of the separate half/full day tours.

6. Is it possible to visit a theatre, a concert or some other performance during our stay in Russia?

Yes. You are very welcome to attend an opera, ballet, or folk performance, or a concert of classical, pop, rock or jazz music for an extra charge depending on the program available. If you tell us your wishes beforehand, we will be happy to offer you an evening program in accordance with your desires.

7. Do children and students get a discount?

Yes. If there are children under the age of six, school children or students in your group, please inform us beforehand and they will receive a discount. Children under the age of six enter most of the museums free of charge if accompanied by adults. Pupils and students get a 30%-50% discount in the museums if they have a school/university ISIC card.

8. Are there any other ways to reduce the price of the tour?

The size of a group can be from 1 to 40 people. The price of the tour per person depends on the number of people in the group: the larger is the group, the cheaper the tour for each traveler. So invite your relatives, friends and colleagues to join you for the tour.

9. Do senior citizens get a discount?

No, unfortunately not.

10. What is the price of the tour for a single traveler?

If you want to travel alone inform us and we will calculate the price for you personally.

11. What is the price of a tour if the number of people in a group is an uneven number?

In this case, the price per person is the same as the price per person in the group of the previous even number (for example, the price per person in a group of seven people is the same as the price per person in a group of six people. See the tables).

12. How to get permission to enter the Russian Federation?

If you live in Berlin or if you are able to come to Berlin, we can offer you the procurement service at the Russian Embassy in Berlin. If not, we will mail you the tour voucher that will allow you to apply for the Russian visa at your local Russian Consulate.

13. When should I pay for the tour?

The deadline for payment is one month before the start of the tour.

14. Is it possible to change the hotel?

Yes! You can find the list of St. Petersburg and Moscow hotels here and you can reserve a room through our services. We mostly focus on the economy and business class 3*-4* hotels, and also mini-hotels, near the city centre or/and the metro stations. If you prefer to stay in a cheaper hotel or, on the contrary, would like to stay in a first-class hotel, please inform us beforehand and we will offer you the accommodation options according to you wishes. We don’t guarantee the availability of rooms in specific hotels during high season. If the hotel of your choice is already fully booked, we will offer you other comparable options.

15. How to book a tour?

Please fill in the form available on our website. Describe all of your wishes and requests in details. We will contact you immediately.

16. Is it possible to buy a boat trip on the rivers and canals of St.-Petersburg?

Yes, we highly recommend you to buy this additional excursion and see the city as its founder, the Russian Tsar Peter I, intended it to be seen. This excursion is not included into the main program (except the tour “Multifaceted St. Petersburg”) because it depends mainly on weather conditions. You can buy a ticket and join a group on a large boat or charter a small boat just for your party with your guide’s assistance. You purchase the tickets directly for the desired tour. The average length of the excursion is 1-1.5 hours.

17. What are the languages of the excursions?

For the tour price mentioned we offer you the choice of four languages: English, Russian, German and Spanish. If you need to listen to the guide in another language (French, Polish, Italian, Greek etc.) we can arrange it on request, but this will be reflected in the price of the tour.
